The end of an era

Today, the last of my brown eyed girls, and the last of the Johnson daughters, headed off to her senior year. It seems like just yesterday my ex-husband and I created these brown haired, brown eyed beauties ( well, mostly brown w/blue streaks today, in Olivia's case) and now we have one living on her own in Idaho, one graduated from cosmetology school with a little girl, and one who's a senior. Big Sigh. Thank goodness the youngest just started 5th grade yesterday, and has a ways to go, or I would truly feel old :)

My summer to do list isn't done...but the summer almost is

 Can't believe the summer is almost over. I made a huge "to do" list, that is only about 1/16th completed! With 2 daughters out of the house, I thought I could accomplish so much. It seems like I spent the entire summer looking at the ancient ceiling of the theater, rather than completing my list. Funny how that works. So before the end of September, I am hoping to knock out the rest. Got another drawer and cupboard done this morning. Tired of having too much stuff- and nowhere to put it in an 1800 square foot house- that seems so illogical!
  Hoping to sit for an extended period and update my profile on here, tell you all about my 4 girls, and the rest of our chaotic life....and the reason for the Blog name. Until next time......

Today's the day!

It's been on my "to-do" list for awhile to start blogging. I don't know who will read it, but ahem, it will make me feel better, release my creative energy...and hey- give me a chance to vent here and there. I am a "sharer"- always have been, always will be. Be back on later.....just wanted to get started. :)
